Terms and Conditions

These Terms govern access to and use of DeROSE eBooks, its digital library, and related services. By using the platform, you must comply with these conditions and applicable law.

Last updated: August 28, 2026

Service provider

DeROSE eBooks is operated by HARAPPA S.R.L., CUIT 30-71246285-6, with its registered address at República Árabe Siria 3088, Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, Argentina.

The service and means of access

DeROSE eBooks lets you browse a catalog, access authorized publications, and read them using the online and offline readers offered by the platform. Some features are public, while others require an account. The scope and duration of access depend on how it was granted.

  • Free books are available under the conditions stated in the catalog.
  • When you complete a book purchase, you receive a personal access license under these Terms and the displayed offer.
  • A subscription grants access to the included catalog while a valid access period remains in effect.
  • Coupons, manually granted access, Learn access, and migrated access may have a specific scope or term.

Account and authentication

Only people who are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a contract may use DeROSE eBooks. You may create an account with an email address and password or sign in through Learn DeROSE. Before you continue with Learn, we explain that we will receive your identifier, verified email address, avatar, and current student status; DeROSE eBooks may create or link the corresponding local account.

  • Provide accurate information and keep your email address up to date.
  • Protect your credentials, sessions, and devices against unauthorized use.
  • Notify us if you detect unauthorized access or a security issue.
  • Do not share an account or use another person's identity.

Personal license and intellectual property

The books, covers, texts, trademarks, and other content belong to HARAPPA S.R.L. or their respective authors and rights holders. Purchasing a book does not transfer ownership of the content or deliver its original file. When you complete a purchase, you receive a personal, limited, non-exclusive, and non-transferable license to access and read the publication exclusively through DeROSE eBooks, for as long as the publication remains available on the platform and HARAPPA S.R.L. or its licensors retain the rights necessary to offer it. A purchase does not guarantee perpetual availability, a permanent download, or access outside the platform.

  • Do not copy, publish, sell, rent, distribute, or make the content available to third parties.
  • Do not circumvent access controls or extract or reconstruct files outside the authorized readers.
  • Do not automate the downloading, retrieval, or complete reproduction of the catalog or any publication.
  • Do not use the content, annotations, or files to train, fine-tune, or provide input to artificial intelligence systems, and do not allow their extraction for that purpose.
  • Offline copies may only be used within DeROSE eBooks and through the account that downloaded them.

Purchases, subscriptions, and payments

Before a payment begins, the platform displays the product or plan, price, currency, and applicable billing frequency. Payments in ARS are processed through Mercado Pago, while payments in BRL or USD are processed through Stripe. The pages hosted by those providers collect payment method details.

  • Subscriptions renew at the stated interval while they remain active.
  • You may cancel renewal; access will continue until the end of the period already paid for.
  • A declined, expired, or unpaid payment does not create a new access period.
  • A full refund or confirmed chargeback may revoke the access associated with that transaction.
  • Prices and promotions may vary by country, currency, date, eligibility, and channel. Before confirmation, the final price, currency, billing frequency, and conditions displayed in the offer you accept will prevail.

Annotations and health-related content

You retain ownership of the notes you write and grant us only the authorization necessary to store, synchronize, and display them to you within the service. Your notes, highlights, bookmarks, and progress are private by default. Publications may discuss exercise, well-being, or health, but they are provided for informational and educational purposes and do not replace diagnosis, advice, or treatment by qualified professionals.

Withdrawal, cancellation, and refunds

You may submit a withdrawal or cancellation request through our public form without signing in. You will immediately receive a code that identifies your request. Cancellation stops future renewals and preserves the period already paid for; an approved withdrawal may result in a full refund and revocation only of the access associated with the transaction. We record the first opening after payment as operational evidence, but we never automatically reject a request based on that information. Other refunds are assessed under the offer and these Terms.

Permitted use and security

You must use the platform lawfully and without harming the service, its content, or other people. The following actions are prohibited:

  • Attempt to access accounts, documents, administrative features, or data without authorization.
  • Interfere with the service's availability or security, introduce malicious code, or abuse its resources.
  • Use robots, scrapers, or other automated tools to obtain protected content.
  • Share private links, cookies, tokens, or credentials that enable access controls to be bypassed.

Availability and modifications

We work to keep the service available and secure, but interruptions may occur due to maintenance, technical failures, or third-party services. We may correct errors, update readers, or modify features. Publications may become unavailable because of a loss or change of rights, legal requirements, discontinuation of the content, or security, technical, or operational reasons. If we permanently withdraw a publication acquired through an eligible paid purchase, we will block all online access and grant a non-expiring right to choose another active publication whose current price is equal to or less than the current value of the withdrawn publication, in the same currency. The choice is final; if that replacement is also withdrawn, we will reopen the same right. We will privately preserve the progress and annotations for the withdrawn publication without making them accessible.

Suspension and termination

We may restrict or suspend an account in response to violations, fraud, security risks, or legal requirements. Whenever reasonable, we will explain the reason and allow you to request a review. You may also stop using the service and request deletion of your account, subject to the retention of records required by law or necessary to resolve pending transactions.

Liability

DeROSE eBooks is not liable for interruptions or harm caused solely by external providers, incompatible devices, loss of connectivity, misuse of an account, or a breach of these conditions.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect legal, operational, or service changes. We will publish the current version and the date it was last updated. If a change is material, we will endeavor to provide notice through the platform or by email before it takes effect.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Argentine Republic. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires.
